June 26th, 2015 – Avian Friday: Sushi Run
This weekends low morning tides might mark the tail end of the Bald Eagle run over at Seabeck, Washington and unfortunately I might not be able to catch the last of the action. I’m swamped trying to finish an art project in time for a submission deadline quickly approaching on Sunday. For those of you who are local to the Seattle area, I’ll fill folks in on the details in an upcoming post. Here’s another eagle shot this week, this time captured on the opposite side of the beach with a completely different background. This bird had just snatched a fish away from the wading Great Blue Herons and is heading back up to a high perch to get his grub on.
