June 12th, 2015 – Avian Friday: Somebody Say Fishwich?
Here is a frame from the Bald Eagle action that I captured weekend before last. These magnificent birds are quite the thrill to watch as they glide down from nearby pine trees to the beach to plunge their sharp talons into sculpin fish exposed at low tide. This particular bird seems to have spotted the perfect seafood appetizer.
