February 6th, 2015 – Avian Friday: You Can’t See Me
Here is a Wood Duck I photographed at Seattle’s Washington Park Arboretum right around this same time last year. I thought it was an interesting pose with the wave surrounding this colorful male. It’s almost hard to tell if he was looking for food beneath the surface or looking at his own reflection in the water. Maybe he was checking to see if he was debonaire enough to impress one of the ladies. 🙂
