May 30th, 2014 – Avian Friday: Mellow Yellow
Here are a couple more warblers to continue the new theme that started last week.
The first is a Western Tanager and not that great of a shot, but will suffice as it is my only sighting of this pretty bird in the Seattle area. The Yellow-rumped Warbler is more common around these parts. Both of these were found at the area near the University of Washington campus known as the Montlake Fill.
