May 23rd, 2014 – Avian Friday: Lil’ Ones

It sounds like folks enjoyed the previous series of Ducks, Geese and Swans images over the past few weeks and now that we’re at the height of spring, it seems like the warbler family might be an appropriate species to kick off a new theme with. The smaller these guys get, the more of a challenge they can be to photograph because rarely do they ever stand still for more than a few seconds. This family; known as the Pasifomres is quite large and includes numerous species, so I’m not sure yet how long I’ll keep this series going. I’m still searching for ideal images of each one, but here are a few of my favorites that I feel are worthy of sharing.
