October 25th, 2013 – Avian Friday: Cloud Walker

It’s truly a great thing that Eagles are beginning to become more common throughout North America.
They were removed from endangered species list over six years ago and their numbers suggest they are well on their way to recovery. They are recognized here in the US as the national symbol and were also highly regarded among Native American culture as prominent figures in the mythology of many tribes. Some have considered It as a messenger between the Creator and man. I’ve been fortunate to have seen plenty of these during my lifetime, but I still get excited whenever I get a chance to spot one.
