October 18th, 2013 – Avian Friday: Rufousize

Another Hummingbird shot from the vault this week. Whenever we go out to try to capture these guys there usually are several Anna’s about, but the Rufous are less common around these parts. So it always seem like a special treat to get a shot of these guys. This one hovered around a Crocosmia flower long enough for me to snap a few frames before he took off again.
