December 28th, 2012 – Avian Friday: Best of The Year

As 2012 comes to a close, here is a baker’s dozen of my favorite bird images of the year. As I have tried to branch out into other photographic subjects, the bird imagery has taken somewhat of a back seat. None the less, this collection is representative of some opportunities I’ve been fortunate enough to encounter. Most of these are from local haunts with the exception of the Snowy Owls which were north of the border in beautiful British Columbia. A big thanks to all my friends who provided support and encouragement.
