May 30th, 2012: Gorgeous Weekend
This years Memorial Day weekend was very special. To start it off on Friday, I received the great news that I will be starting a new job next week. Even though it is a part-time position in a totally different industry, it is truly a blessing as I have been out of work since for almost 2 years due to the recession. I also made a trip to the Columbia River Gorge to do a little fishing and a lot of hiking and photographing some beautiful scenery. This was the first time visiting the Gorge specially to capture the waterfalls and this is one of the most beautiful areas in the Pacific Northwest to see them. The fishing turned out to take a back seat to the scenery and I can’t wait to get back to explore the are some more. This little creek was found on the upper section of the Wahkeena Falls trail.
