December 12th, 2011: Fishin’ Hole

Today’s image is from an area along Oak Creek just north of Sedona. I had stopped here on my way up to Flagstaff  after spotting a few birds to photograph. Not having had much success  capturing them, I wandered through a field and back toward this area near the creek. It looked like the perfect spot to cast a bobber and a worm where a deep pool had been formed where the creek meandered around a huge boulder.  Maybe on my next trip to Sedona I’ll have to bring a trout rod along.
