October 25th, 2011: Path of Righteousness
On the drive from Sedona up to Flagstaff on highway 89A I spotted an interesting field with a few Norther Flicker birds working the trees. I was hoping to get one of my first avian images with the newly acquired camera and lens setup. Naturally as I got out of the car and stepped foot into the field the Flickers got spooked off but I still managed to make a few images of the area. This trail leading back into to the forest found its way into the viewfinder. I think I’ll have to walk it the next time.
