October 14th, 2011: Avian Friday – Who’s Laughing Now?
This weeks image is another from the archives since I haven’t been out shooting birds lately. This owl is actually yawning as I caught him during and afternoon slumber and was able to get a bit closer to her than normal. Unfortunately due to habitat modification the owls main food source seems to have been disrupted there and they haven’t been seen in numbers for the past couple years.
