September 12th, 2011 – Salmon Highway

Last week I was  salmon fishing on the Puyallup River with my good friend Matt.  For three straight days we had a lot of success catching  Pinks or “Humpies”. Every once in a while someone would hook into a Silver or a King to make things more interesting. Our weather here had clear summer skies for the most part, but there was one morning that had some nice cloud formations suited to making a sunrise image. I was glad I had my little camera strapped on underneath my waders to capture this shot.
