September 5th, 2011 – Seattle Sky View 2
Although I still have many more images from Sedona, Arizona to share, but I feel the need to mix it up a bit so here is another shot from a shoot atop the 70th floor of Seattle’s Columbia Tower ( see the earlier post here https://sirfishalot.wordpress.com/2011/08/13/august-13th-2011-seattle-sky-view/) . This looks out in the Southeasterly direction towards the Cascade mountain range. In the foreground is the 62 story Seattle Municipal Tower and Interstate 5 freeway. Left of I-5 is First Hill, otherwise known as “Pill Hill” because of all the hospitals and clinics in the area. To the right is the International District or “Chinatown”. In the background (right to left) are Beacon Hill (where I live), Rainier Valley, Lake Washington, Mercer Island and Bellevue. The view from here would be spectacular if only it were open to the air. A night view, sunset or sunrise would be high on my list to photograph also, but unfortunately it’s only open during normal business hours.
