July 28th, 2011 – Denny Hall
The oldest building on the University of Washington’s campus, Denny Hall is named after one of Seattle’s “founding fathers” – Arthur A. Denny who donated the largest parcel of land towards the University in 1894. The building was designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style built using Tenino sandstone and pressed brick with round turrets. A monochrome treatment of this image seemed to match the style of this historical structure.
