July 19th, 2011 – Bee Balm

I met up with some fellow nature photographers over the weekend to shoot hummingbirds. The light was less than ideal for bird photography, but we did manage a few captures when the sun poked out every now and then.  I’ll post a shot or two in this weeks Avian Friday episode. This flower known as Bee Balm is one that the hummingbirds feed on. While waiting for the hummers to show up I decided to grab a few brackets for an HDR image.
