July 18th, 2011 – Vinelines

Today’s image is another view of a  previously posted trellis/pergola at the Washington Park Arboretum.  While disappointed in not finding the Chinese Wisteria on another part of this trellis and  pergola that I had returned to shoot at this scene, I really liked the abundance of  adjacent plants and their contrasts with hard lines of the wooden structure. Experimenting with the composition, I chose this symmetrical view to frame the vegetation.
