July 6th, 2011 – Florals

I’m not sure how I got interested in floral images. I guess it’s just a logical extension of nature photography, but I really do enjoy capturing them.  Their wide range of forms, colors and textures  create opportunities for  many different compositions. Here are a few of my favorites from recent outings.

Assorted Flower Images  from Seattle’s Washington Park Arboretum and Tulip Town in Mount Vernon.

  1. Do you carry around your own little step ladder to to capture those stunning birds-eye views? Your creative perspectives just keep bringing me back for another peek! The intense colors are captivating, especially the burnt orange/red in the last image.
