June 24th, 2011 – Avian Friday: Virginia Rail
The Virginia Rail is very shy and secretive bird that lives in dense vegetation near freshwater marshes. They aren’t often seen out in the open and one would consider themselves lucky to get an unobstructed photograph of one.
