June 13th, 2011 – Atrium

Seattle University’s Casey Building has an interesting atrium that houses a 5-story stairway that looks out onto a south-facing garden area tucked away behind the building. The landscaped area provides a nice quiet place of refuge and the atrium acts a link to integrate the exterior space into the building.
