June 8th, 2011 – Beacon Hill Sunset Panorama
Every once in a while we are fortunate to experience some incredible sunsets here in rainy Seattle. These often seem to occur when I’m not planning a shoot or don’t have a camera with me. The other night as my wife and I were coming home from a dinner outing, the skies over Elliott Bay looked promising so instead of heading straight home we stopped at our neighborhood viewpoint. We were treated with an unusual sunset that included what appeared to be a shaft of light reflected up onto the clouds. It was nice to at least have a compact camera on hand which I tend to carry with me at most times these days.
