June 4th, 2011 – Official Seattle View

I visited the Mayors office for an award ceremony this week  and I must say the view from there is quite nice. This scene looks out over Elliott Bay and the Port of Seattle maritime operations. Two of Seattle’s grand old buildings anchor the edges of the frame.  The Smith Tower (left) , one of the worlds first skyscrapers  built in 1922 and the Dexter Horton building (1924) on the lower right.

Canon S95, 28mm,  f/3.5,  ISO 100,  Custom Mode. Hand-held, 3-Exposure HDR.  Post processing – Lightroom 3, Photoshop CS5, Photomatix Pro, onOne Phototools, Topaz Adjust.
