May 29th, 2011 – Alki Little Liberty

This  replica of the Statue of Liberty is on of  many miniatures of the New York  that were place around the country by the Boy Scouts of  America during the 40’s & 50’s. This one at Seattle’s Alki Beach was restored in 2006 along with the addition of a new pedestal and plaza. It  represents the freedom, love and liberty that we Americans hold dear.
