May 9th, 2011 – S Curves
I’m always a little hesitant to shoot at very popular locations in the city. After seeing lots of images from them and as in this case having photographed there several times, it’s a little hard to get excited about. This particular spot at the Jose Rizal Bridge does not really have much to offer in variety of views; you are pretty much limited to a single vantage point from the bridge. But it is close to my home so when it seems like we might have a cool sunset I naturally think about returning to shoot there. Although the scene remains somewhat static, the light conditions and skies are always changing to provide new and interesting looks worthy of a return visit.
