May 7th, 2011 – Skagit Valley Eye Candy

Fortunately I did finally make up to Skagit Valley this week to catch the last of the Tulip blooms. I wasn’t able to get the sunrise shot I had hoped for, but we did have some nice light and spring weather to make for a fun afternoon. It was also a great opportunity to test out  a new zoom lens that I’ve recently added to my kit. The majority of the large fields were no longer in bloom with the exception of TulipTown.  I took a good number of images which I haven’t yet had time to process, but here are a few that I’m liking so far.
