May 6th, 2011 – Avian Friday: Eye of the Cinny

A lot of times bird photography is about getting the perfect pose with just the right head angle and isolating the subject with a nice background. When possible, I like to take an artistic license and present an image that has a slightly different twist to it. During a recent bird photography outing I came across a pair of Cinnamon Teal ducks that were resting near the water’s edge. I was able to walk very close without disturbing them too much and was able to capture a few close up images of them.
