April 9th, 2011 – Sakura Lane

I had thought about making a trip to my alma mater at the University of Washington to photograph the classical interior of Suzzallo Library. I wanted to have some good light to accentuate the stained glass windows there and a nice sunny Seattle afternoon seemed the perfect opportunity. It was also a good day to capture some images of the awesome cherry tree blossoms in the “Quad” (liberal arts quadrangle). Tons of people were about and it seemed almost everyone there had a camera of some sort. It made shooting bracketed sequences  a  bit challenging, thank goodness for the ghost removal tools in Photomatix.

    • Thanks Chris,
Its a bargain for the price. I just got it a week ago, but really liking the output from it. It has some weird distortion, but easily corrected I Lightroom.
