March 22nd, 2011 – Worker Bee
I’m pulling todays image from the archives since my MackBook Pro’s solid state expresscard drive is in the process of being rebuilt. The speed of running OSX from this drive is very nice, but at times it can be somewhat unstable. The file directory got trashed so I’m having to reinstall all my applications on it.
Lately I’ve been experimenting the single exposure HDR processing on some of my nature images. This one was actually tone-mapped twice in Photomatix. There was a fair amount of noise in the original RAW file which could have been dealt with better in Lightroom 3.
