February 28th, 2011 – Rattlesnake Mountain

We had a break in the winter showers here in the Pacific Northwest last week so I went for a hike up on Rattlesnake Mountain. I travelled light, so only brought the pocket cam along. Even thought the sun was out it was pretty cold. The popular peak overlooking the lake was pretty crowded (visible in the upper right of the frame) so we walked up a little further to a nice little ridge to enjoy our lunch.  Along with this shot I also made a hand-held panorama of the view which I’ll post  tomorrow.
