Last year when I was in California shooting wildlife at Bolsa Chica this huge motorcade of Harlys’ & choppers came cruising down Pacific Coast Highway. There must have been hundreds in the group because it took a good, continuous 7 to 10 minutes for the procession to pass by the wildlife reserve. Needless to say, I was somewhat distracted from my bird shooting and turned to big lens to focus on this group for a few images.

Single RAW image taken using the Canon 1D Mark III dslr set on Aperture-priority (A)mode with Canon EF 500/4 IS lens, monopod. The exposure was taken at 500 mm, f/7.1, 1/640 sec, ISO 400 using Center-weighted averaging metering. Post processing done in Lightroom 2.5, Photoshop CS3, tone-mapping in Photomatix Pro .
