Path to Modernism

Master architect Renzo Piano designed the Modern Wing  at Chicago’s Art Institute.  The building is a 264,000 square foot addition to the museum. This view was taken from the Lurie Garden in  Millenium Park . Between the park and the museum, one could spend the better part of  a day or two exploring as there are a multitude of photographic opportunities. Last month on my brief visit to the city,  I initially thought I would pass the park up as a “tourist attraction”. I’m really glad I didn’t and would definitely list this as a location not to be missed when visiting the “Windy City”.
