Carbide and Carbon Building Lobby

One of my favorite buildings in Chicago is the Carbide & Carbon building c. 1929. Most of  its beauty  has been maintained since its conversion in 2004 to the Hard Rock Hotel. Here is a look at the Michigan Ave lobby which features Art Deco bronzework and black Belgian marble. Unfortunately I did not have a tripod with me at the time these brackets were taken so the higher ISO was required, but the final image turned out reasonably nice IMHO.
