My Horiyen Sleeve – Stage 2

On Sunday I flew to Las Vegas to the Biggest Tattoo Show on Earth convention for stage 2 of my sleeve by Jess Yen.

He worked on it for about 6 hours during and after the show.  Scales added to the Koi fish along with some shading and transparency. Needless to say, I am really getting excited about the work now as his vision for this tattoo is starting to be revealed.

The next session will be coming up in about 3 weeks from now. More shading and hopefully color will start after that.

This was the first time I had ever been to Vegas. I only stayed for the one night. Not really my kind of town, but it was interesting to see some of the fake architecture on the Strip.  I did find the new development  – City Center quite fascinating.  It is a huge mixed-use high rise residential project with each structure designed by world renown architects.  Kohn, Pederson & Fox, Rapael Vinoly, Helmut Jahn, Foster & Associates, Ceasar Peli and Daniel Leibskind.  It not scheduled for completion until then end of this year. The following snaps were captured with the Canon G10.
