April 26th, 2012: South of the Border
British Columbia has always been one of my favorite places to visit. Only a couple of hours north of my home in Seattle, the natural wonderland is very accessible. Over the past winter, there was an abundance of migrating Snowy Owls at Boundary Bay which made the drive up to photograph. This image was taken from there looking back across the bay towards the US with Mount Baker taking center-stage in the background.
