December 31st, 2011: A Year of Images
It’s hard to believe we are coming up on the passing of another year already. I wish I could say that 2011 was a good year, but unfortunately it was marred by the absolute worst day of my life with the loss our daughter Nicole. Through faith and the support of family and friends, we have been able to maintain some semblance of sanity even though our hearts have been torn apart. Photography has played a therapeutic role in my recovery and I want to thank all of you for your support and encouragement. Wishing you all a safe and Happy New Year.
Here is compilation of my favorite images from the year:

I know this has been a difficult year Jay and there’s nothing any of us can say to change that, however, know that your photographic eye has not lost its sharpness! Excellent year of photos. I especially like the snow geese shot and the Skagit Bay image! Looking forward to your 2012 and know we’re here to support bud!
Thanks for the support and the kind words Jim, I appreciate it.
Hi Jay, such a wonderful selection of images! So many different types and processes! Just beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing them! Wishing you all the best in 2012!
Thanks Rachel. Happy New Year.
Well I tried really hard to be different from Jim, but the geese and Skahit Bay are the standouts for me as well, Jay. Our prayers are with you and your family on this difficult anniversary day.
Thank you Mark, wishing you the best also my friend.
Beautiful work! Loving that shot of the snow geese and the one of the red chair
