November 30th, 2011: Meanderings

Sedona, Arizona

Here is another image from Slide Rock State Park from my recent visit to Sedona. It was taken from a little footbridge that crosses Oak Creek and I was trying to find  an interesting element to anchor the upstream view of the canyon. While the use of a polarizer cut down on the reflections off the water’s surface, it may also have detracted some of the colorful light reflected from the canyon walls.
