October 16th, 2011: Last Bit of Bow on Cathedral Rock
Todays image was taken during my first visit to Sedona in August. Having spent too much time at another very cool site along the Huckaby Trail, I was late getting back to photograph Cathedral Rock at sunset. Traveling along Highway 89A coming back into town, I could see there was an awesome rainbow above the rock. By the time I was able to find a decent vantage point the rainbow had just about faded away. I did manage to catch the last part of it and also met a few folks there who shared some valuable information on other photo opportunities in the area.

Very nice Jay. Shame you missed the full rainbow, but the hint of one can be even more interesting. I am going to miss shooting in Sedona after we move this spring.
